The aim of the course is to provide students with the necessary level
of skill to fly a helicopter for personal use. The course comprises
both practical helicopter flying and the study of a syllabus of
theoretical subjects.
The course takes place from our Kemble Academy
and covers 27 exercises such as hovering, circuits, emergencies,
autorotation, instrument flying, navigation, etc.. to enable you to fly
a personal helicopter safely.

To train
for a PPL(H) students must be over 14 years of age and have passed
either a JAR FCL Class 1 or Class 2 medical.
The theoretical exams are self studied at home with brush up tuition
form the instructors as and when required.
All our Instructors at Kemble are highly experienced Commercial Pilots
who love to teach and pass on their knowledge.
