20 Hours FNPT II/MCC Simulator
10 Hours Pilot Flying & 10 Hours Pilot Not Flying
Location – Cardiff Heliport
Timescale – 3 weeks
MCC Course cost - £3995 + VAT
The aim of the course is for pilots to learn
to become proficient in
multi crew co-operation in order to operate safely multi-pilot
helicopters flying in accordance with VFR or IFR rules.

As well as undertaking 20 hours simulator
flying the MCC (H) course
also has a number of ground school lessons. Subjects covered include:-
- Personality, Attitude & Motivation
- Crew Co-ordination Procedures
- Mutual Supervision & Leadership
- Communication
- Crew Co-Ordination
- Checklists
- Flight Planning
- In Flight Cockpit DVD analysis

Simulator flying takes place in
the Agusta 109 (GAS78) FNPTII / MCC. Practical route flying is
undertaken in the simulator including flights from Oil Rigs, across
International borders and typical UK cross country VIP flights.
Prior to commencing the course, the student
needs to hold a CPL (H)
& valid IR (H). Minimum of 2 students required for each course.
